President of Baxter Pre School Inc’s committee of management

Sharon Howell is committee president of Baxter Pre School, a Mornington Peninsula-based service that offers three and four-year-old kindergarten programs for 63 children and a popular after-kinder care program two afternoons a week.

Baxter’s parent committee has often sought advice from KPV on many management issues.

“Kindergarten Parents Victoria gives our volunteer parent committee, the backup, support and information we need,’’ she says.

"They have helped us see ourselves as much more than a parent social group, and helped us be more strategic about the future of our service.’’
