* The Victorian kindergarten policy, procedures and funding criteria 2009 will state that all children in the funded program must be offered a full time program by the commencement of week 4 (Monday 23rd February).
*The decision to have 3 child free (curriculum) days at the commencement of term 1 is a decision of the education department and applies to schools only. This decision is a result of wages negotiations over recent years and replaces the occasional curriculum days traditionally held throughout the year.
