Make sure you have a job descriptionand that it includes the things that are really important about the job you are advertising. The KPV Employer Management Manual has some samples but you can change these to reflect the things that are important in your community.

When we did our interviews with a teacher and two committee members we also had those members children present. We suggested after we had discussed some questions we would like the interviewee to show us a group activity that could be done with the children present, the adults also acted as children. It was a good way to see the applicant inteact with children.
